About

DieselGreen Fuels formed in 2006 from the ashes of the Austin Biodiesel Cooperative. No, we didn’t burn anything down, but we did learn some hard lessons on getting a group of strangers together to do hard, dirty work in the Texas heat.

After 10 years in a niche computer industry (fibre channel storage, for you techies), I was the President of the coop, and now am Managing Partner of DieselGreen. My partner Michael Mullins does most of the physical work, keeping our oil and biodiesel flowing to customers. As we expand our business from our first load of palm-biodiesel delivered to my back yard into a sustainable enterprise that actually pays the bills, I try to stop and reflect on what we’ve been through, what our current challenges are, and where we go from here.

Expect posts on exciting news and information, as well as some pretty boring (but important!) news on the regulatory and legislative aspects of the alternative fuels industry.

Check out our website at http://www.dieselgreenfuels.com - and subscribe for an email whenever I update the blog (maybe weekly).

Feedback is always encouraged, and you can reach me directly at jason at dieselgreenfuels.com - and my partner michael at dieselgreenfuels.com.
