I can’t believe I’m saying it, but in the next few weeks, I’ll be formally offering DieselGreen Fuels for sale! Since starting DieselGreen in 2006, I got married and started a family. The time commitment that running a business requires, in addition to my full time day job, is no longer possible for me. I plan to continue to be active as an advocate, and hope that I can seek a full time position in the industry at some point. However, I must put the needs of my family first, and this is the best decision for us at this time.
For our customers: I don’t expect anything to change in the next few months. Hopefully by early next year, I’ll have found the right buyer and transitioned my management duties to them. My driver and right hand man, Charlie Duncan, will continue running the operations of the business, and our products will still be available as they are today. I believe that biodiesel from local waste oil is an important part of Austin’s clean energy future. All gasoline in Austin now contains 10% ethanol, and I believe that eventually all diesel will contain 5% biodiesel. My hope is that the OEM’s will support B20 in all vehicles, and that we can continue to displace more and more imported petroleum. With the national and international discussion now forming about climate change and other environmental issues, the future of alternative energy is going to be huge. By using biodiesel, you’re doing the right thing and I would like to thank you for your support.
For potential investors: The “right buyer” will be one who can commit extra capital to bring in more restaurant sources, which helps keep our costs, and therefore our prices, competitive with diesel. With our local customer base, our oil sources, and our name recognition, you can be sure that DieselGreen is an asset you can count on. Please contact me directly at Jason@DieselGreenFuels.com or 512-247-3835 if you’d like to discuss in more detail.
It has been a wild ride - one I will never forget. From our first load being delivered to my back yard (and the resulting fire marshall visit that OK’ed having 1000 gallons of biodiesel in my driveway!) to the big rigs we use today; from the clogged fuel filters in the early days to the rock solid reputation we enjoy today; it’s sometimes been a roller coaster, but it’s always been rewarding. I am excited to begin this search for new management, and welcome any comments, feedback, suggestions, or criticism you may have. I will provide an update when I have something concrete, but rest assured I won’t continue to send emails about this matter until it concludes.
Thank you again for your support,
Jason Burroughs

Not all men will put their wife and family above their career and the business they have built. May God be with you and your family.
I thank you for the knowledge you have passed on. Bullard VOC will continue to be a co-op, will stay small, but will teach others so that we to can do our part for renewable fuels. If you are ever in the Tyler, TX area look us up.
